I graduated from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, with two bachelor's degree:  One in Art, the other in Architecture.  Subsequently, I attended New York University's  graduate program in Urban Planning for a Master's degree.

I spent over 10 years living and traveling in Italy, Spain, France, Greece and England.  During my time in Europe, I visited many art museums and architectural sites to further my education and enhance the cultivation of my aesthetic discernment.

My diversified work experience includes architecture, architectural rendering, urban planning/design, sales/marketing in the construction industry, and designing, developing and marketing women's imported shoes. In addition, I have helped design and assisted in the management of several restaurants owned and operated by my wife, an accomplished restauranteur.  I am also a certified teacher specializing in early childhood and have performed as a children's entertainer and face painter.

After retiring from a life in business, I returned to painting.   I am now painting almost full time, teaching children at the South Bend Musuem of Art and periodically teaching design at Ivy Tech Community College in South Bend, Indiana.

When I am not painting, my wife and I enjoy discovering new restaurants and spending time with our two dogs - Emma (a Havanese) and Daisy (an Old English Sheepdog).
